Nick Ehli has served as managing editor of the Bozeman Daily Chronicle since 2008. Prior to that, he worked as a reporter, editor, columnist and publisher at various newspapers in Montana. He is also the founding editor of Montana Quarterly magazine.
Mark Dobie is the Director of Sales and Marketing at Skagit Publishing and has been for the past 4 years. He started his career in the high speed data transport business working for CompuServe and Sprint, then as a founding member of the early Internet start-ups NetStream and Fiberlink. In 2001 he acquired the publishing company his grandmother started in 1964, Visitor Publications; and then subsequently became publisher of a small town weekly newspaper in Northern Wisconsin. Sailing is a family passion so he jumped at a chance to move back to the west Coast and work for Pioneer.
Joe started with the Idaho Press-Tribune as the Production Director, then started acquiring additional departments until the paper started printing another local daily newspaper. At that point he opted for the smarter choice and became the IT Director, where he specialized in web development. He’s been in newspapers for over 20 years, nearly 9 of them with Pioneer News Group. He currently coordinates web development and digital projects throughout Pioneer.
Larry Wells is the Internal Auditor/Operations Controller for Pioneer News Group, located in Seattle, WA. He has been with Pioneer for over 15 years, having spent 6 years as a Finance Director at the daily newspaper Herald and News in Klamath Falls, OR and the balance of his time in his current position. He reports to an Audit Committee regarding his audit responsibilities, provides support and analysis for Corporate Management, and liaisons with front line personnel on operational and financials initiatives.
